DOHA (Qatar): India’s 2018 Commonwealth Games bronze medal-winning pair of Sharath Kamal Achanta and Manika Batra will face South Korea's Lee Sangsu and Jeon Jihee in the mixed doubles final on Saturday (March 20) for a ticket to Tokyo 2020.
The Asian qualification tournament that includes men's, women's singles and doubles is being organised by the Qatar Table Tennis Federation.
The second seeded Indians dispatched the fourth seeded Singapore’s Pang Yew En Koen and Lin Ye 12-10, 9-11, 11-5, 5-11, 11-8, 13-11.
The duo of Lee and Jeon won in six games (4-11, 11-7, 11-4, 5-11, 11-8, 11-8) against Thailand’s Padasak Tanviriyavechakul and Suthasini Sawettabut.
